Collection of microscope slide preparation items (early 20th century)

Collection of microscope slide preparation items including a small desiccator, a mortar and pestle, a cork borer set and a cork borer sharpener, two small boxes for slides, a microscope slide compressor, an alcohol lamp, several glass flasks labelled for example with ‘Potassium Bichromate’ (from the RACS Pharmacy Department, Royal Arsenal Co-Operative Society Ltd, 127, The Broadway, Wimbledon, S.W.19), Methyl Green No. 2 (from Revector Dyes and Chemicals), Chloroform (from Boots Cash Chemists (Southern) Limited), Iodine BP (from Boots Pure Drug Co. LTD, Nottingham, England), Delafield’s haematoxylin (from GT Gurr, London, England), Canada balsam in xylol, BINX, Dammar 573 in xylol, CCl4, small glass discs in a flask of ‘Preston Salts’, and other glass flasks and items. These items should be dated to the mid-20th century.
