Microscope 345 is labelled with “THE FIELD, C & D, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, MADE IN ENGLAND”, and should be dated to the 1950s. This microscope was designed to be used by high-school and university students. The instrument can be covered by a metal dome cap when not in use.
